‘SUPER MATTER' 2018

A new body of work from ASVP that can be best described as POP ABSTRACT EXPRESSIONISM aka ‘PopAbEx’. The new imagery breaks down the omnipotent institutions and individuals into something new and unconstrained. 



‘SUPER MATTER’ takes familiar elements of super heroes and reimagines them as shapes of expressive energy with dynamic strokes, bold colors and movement.









Started in 2009, ASVP is a Brooklyn-based art duo that has become internationally known for creating graphic images with nods to advertising, pop and comic book culture often juxtaposed with layers of organic abstraction.
