ASVP is a dynamic duo of artists consisting of Simon Grendene and Victor Anselmi, hailing from New York City. Together, they have gained international recognition for their signature style of pop art that combines iconic imagery and bold graphics.
Simon and Victor both grew up in the heart of the city and were heavily influenced by its vibrant culture and street art scene. They started their artistic journey individually but eventually crossed paths and began collaborating in the early 2000s. It was this partnership that would eventually lead to the formation of ASVP.
In the beginning, ASVP focused on street art, using stencils and wheat-pasting to create eye-catching pieces around the city. Their distinctive style quickly caught the attention of local galleries, and they began exhibiting their work in group shows. It wasn't long before they gained a following and began selling their work in galleries across the world.
ASVP's work is characterized by its bold, graphic style that often incorporates pop culture references and iconic imagery. They draw inspiration from a wide range of sources, from vintage advertising to contemporary fashion. Their use of bright, bold colors and strong, clean lines make their work instantly recognizable and have helped establish them as leaders in the contemporary pop art movement.
Their work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions throughout the world, including New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris, and Tokyo. In addition to their gallery work, ASVP has also been commissioned for a variety of public and private installations, including large-scale murals and ad campaigns for major brands.
ASVP has established themselves as one of the most exciting and innovative voices in contemporary art today. With their unique style and unapologetic approach to pop culture, they continue to push the boundaries of what is possible in the world of art.
